Terry Fox Monument and Visitor Centre

The Terry Fox Visitor Information Centre is on the eastern approach to the city on Highway 11/17, the Trans-Canada Highway about one kilometre east from the Hodder Avenue exit. On site you’ll find the Terry Fox Monument, a nine-foot high bronze statue of famed cross country runner, Terry Fox. The statue set on a 45 ton granite base with a foundation of local amethyst, commands a breath-taking view of Lake Superior. Open year-round.
