The community feast will be held on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and is open to all visitors. \n\n\nWhat to Bring\n\n\n\n\nWeather-appropriate clothing\, bug spray\, sunscreen: This is an all-weather program and takes place indoors and outdoors. \nCash: There are no ATMs available on site. \nChairs: Limited seating will be available in the Pow Wow area. \n\n\nPow Wow Etiquette\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRespect the sacred nature of the event\, the Elders\, drummers\, singers\, dancers\, regalia\, and the Pow Wow staff and committee.\nDogs are not allowed in the Pow Wow area. Leashed dogs are allowed in other areas of the site.\nListen to the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for information about the dances\, songs and Pow Wow guidelines.\nPhotos\, video and sound recordings are not permitted during ceremonial songs and dances. Voted “Best Annual Festival” multiple times by the TBshows Fan Choice Awards\, Tumblestone has evolved into a vibrant two-day\, multi-genre arts and music festival held annually at the end of August. \nHosted in Gorham\, Ontario—just 20 minutes north of Thunder Bay—the festival takes its name from the region’s rugged\, rocky landscape. Its eclectic programming reflects our inclusive spirit\, drawing a diverse audience that spans from young families to seniors. \nOver the years\, Tumblestone has showcased 166 unique acts (one time or more) featuring over 300 musicians and artists\, resulting in 501 performances across our festivals and special events. Our core mission has always centered on supporting local talent. We are proud to consistently feature the highest number of local\, underrepresented\, and emerging artists among Thunder Bay festivals. \nWe are especially committed to uplifting new generation artists and those whose work doesn’t fit neatly into traditional genre categories—voices often underheard in our remote region of Northern Ontario. With limited access to industry infrastructure\, these creators deserve a platform\, and we strive to provide it. \nTumblestone has always operated with a spirit of fearless dedication: doing whatever we can to support artists\, the music scene\, and the wider creative community of Thunder Bay. As we continue to grow\, our commitment remains unchanged—we will keep paying it forward to the artists who align with our values\, need a stage\, and are ready to be heard.
