The 2025 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will be held in Thunder Bay February 14 – 23, 2025 at the Fort William Gardens and Fort William Curling Club. Top female curlers from across Canada will be descending on the city including the reigning Canadian champions the Rachael Homan rink – Team Canada.
Tickets are on sale on the Curling Canada website or at the Fort William Gardens Box Office.

Scotties: History of Champions
Thunder Bay is full of great curlers including Heather Houston, Rick & Lorraine Lang, Al Hackner and Krista McCarville.
The Lang Family
The Lang Family has been involved with the curling community in Thunder Bay since the 1970s. Rick and Lorraine Lang are world champions and their daughter Sarah Potts carried on the curling legacy as part of the Krista McCarville Rink.

Thunder Bay has number of flight options from major carriers – Air Canada, Porter and Westjet.
Air Canada and Porter offer a number of direct flights from Toronto daily while Westjet is your best option if travelling from the west.

Thunder Bay has a number of accommodation options with close to 2500 hotel rooms available in the city. Visitors should note that Thunder Bay was once two cities – Fort William (Thunder Bay South) and Port Arthur (Thunder Bay North). The Fort William Gardens is on the city’s south side if you looking to stay in close proximity to the arena.
Dining
Thunder Bay has become renowned for its local culinary scene with many options to choose from. The Waterfront District on the city’s north side has the most options recommended by locals but you will find restaurants in most cases within walking distance or a short drive from most hotels in the city.
