The 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will be happening in Thunder Bay January 29 - February 6, 2022. Top female curlers from across Canada will be descending on the city including Carly Jones of Team Nova Scotia.

Scotties: History of Champions
Thunder Bay is full of great curlers including Heather Houston, Rick & Lorraine Lang, Al Hackner and Krista McCarville.


The Lang Family

The Lang Family has been involved with the curling community in Thunder Bay since the 1970s.  Rick and Lorraine Lang are world champions and their daughter Sarah Potts carried on the curling legacy as part of the Krista McCarville Rink.

FREE Decor Kits

Tourism Thunder Bay will provide items to decorate your business for the 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Items include posters, rack cards, tent cards, and window decals. Let's show visitors from across Canada, the Thunder Bay Spirit!


We will provide the basics, but we want you to get creative! Decorate your business, make a display, paint your windows, create a drink or meal special, and send us some pictures! We will select some of our favourite photos to win tickets to the 2022 Scotties! We may also feature your business on Curling Canada Social Media!
