The Thunder Bay Historical Museum will be holding the following events:
On June 29th The Thunder Bay Historical Museum will be opening its “The Big Picture – Then & Now” exhibit.  The Exhibit will include close to 100 then and now subjects from Thunder Bay’s past, along with unique panoramic Photographs from 1906-1908.  The Thunder Bay Historical Museum will also be extending its hours on June 15th.  The Museum will be open 1-5pm Tuesday through Sunday until June 15th.  After June 15th, the Museum will be open 11am-5pm seven days a week.  For more information on the Museum and the exhibit visit http://www.thunderbaymuseum.com.

Fort William Historical Park swings into action for its 36th season on May 17th.  You are invited to step back into the past to re-live the days of the Canadian fur-trade.  Explore the many buildings and discover the rich tapestry of themes, cultures, and activities that comprised daily life at Fort William in 1815.  Look for many returning favourite summer events at Fort William including Spring on the Farm, the Great Rendezvous, The Battle of Fort William, and the Anishnawbe Keeshigun.  The Fort will be open from 10am to 5pm daily.  For more information, please visit www.fwhp.ca, e-mail info@fwhp.ca or call (807) 473-2344.

The Thunder Bay Children’s Museum is open on Sundays from 1-4pm.  Cost is $3 per child.  Look for upcoming week long and Wednesday workshops in July and August.  The Children’s museum also hosts Children’s Birthday parties for the cost of $125.  For more information call (807) 345-2222.
